新手再求教一個問題

我是新手，在學習天線方面的知識，看書過程中有個問題，雖然小，但是竟然沒找到答案，請高手指點。 
 
天線的E面，我理解E就代表electric field， 那H面的H，是啥的縮寫？磁應該是magnatic吧。謝謝！

H不是縮寫，是延續前人的用法，代表磁場，所以才一直留到了現在， 
麥克斯韋方程都是用的H。

Similarly, in Section 5 of Jackson, H is referred to as the magnetic field. This seems clumsy and pedantic. If you go into the laboratory and ask a physicist what causes the pion trajectories in his bubble chamber to curve, he'll probably answer "magnetic field", not "magnetic induction." You will seldom hear a geophysicist refer to the Earth's magnetic induction, or an astrophysicist talk about the magnetic induction of the galaxy. We propose to keep on calling B the magnetic field.
